Being Crafty

Since I'm done with school... I've decided to use some of my free time to work on my domestic skills. The first thing I did was go get some supplies to make something Spring-y for my little house. It rained/sleeted all through the end of April, and I wanted something to remind me that it would be sunny again soon! (Unfortunately it's still rainy, and it's May! Time for some warmth, Utah!)

I spent way too long searching for things at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft (gotta love her, right?), digging through the fake flowers, trying to find bright colors and varied sizes that would look good together, all the while trying not to spend too much on a simple decoration. Thank goodness for 50% off deals!

I decided to make a wreath. My mom used to make them all the time, and I wanted to do a small one for our front door. But then I found a nifty half-sphere Styrofoam thing that was cheaper than a wreath, so I went with that instead. I'll spare the details, cause it's pretty straight forward and I didn't take any in-progress pics, but here is what I came up with- I really like it!

I'm working on a couple other projects too, here's a sneak peek:

I Love your "half-sphere Styrofoam thing"! VERY cute!! You'll half to tell me how to make that, so I can make one for my door someday! :)

HAHA, I mean "have" not "half"! Wow, it's late. Actually, it's not late I'm just really tired. :)
