Donate for Dylan Mimini

If you've already seen me mention this on facebook, I apologize if I annoy you with my persistence. But for once I have a chance to help someone out, and maybe some of you can too. Normally I don't get too involved with these things. I may give a small donation, but then I just forget about it. For some reason though, perhaps because I personally know the uncle of this boy, I feel a real desire to help in any way I can. So now I am spreading the word to you.

A few years ago I took an Italian class from Sead Osmani. Our class was awesome. He was a great teacher, and I learned a lot from him. Everyone in class got along well, and we even all went out for real Italian pizza in Salt Lake.

Now Sead's little nephew Dylan is in need of some help. His blog does a great job explaining it all, but in a nutshell: He was born with an anorectal malformation, and the doctors in Italy made the problem worse when they tried to fix it. Now he needs to come to the US for proper treatment, and they need help raising money.

Dylan is in preschool, and cannot control his bowel movements. My heart breaks to think of such a sweet little boy who doesn't understand why this happens, and is treated poorly by the other kids who also don't understand.

So far a decent amount has been raised. But they need more.

Nate and I did not donate any large sum of money. We just did what we felt we could do without. Any chance you can do the same?

How to Donate:
You can donate money through PayPal, by clicking here: Dylan's PayPal Account.
Or you can donate money through any Wells Fargo bank. Simply tell them you would like to make a donation to the "Dylan Mimini Donation Account."

Or, for those of you in Provo, if you have anything you want to get rid of around the house, they are going to have a garage sale, where all the proceeds go to helping Dylan. Now that you have new things from Christmas, clean out your closet and see what you don't use or don't need anymore. Instead of taking it to DI, contact me or Sead via his facebook page, and we'll take care of it for you.

Please try to help, even just a little. Even 5 dollars doesn't hurt.

I might have something I could bring for a garage sale. I'll check when I get home :)
